Acid2 Test

Acid2 Test is a page created by Opera to test how standard compliant a browser is.
It is interesting to note that Safari (version 2) is actually the first browser passes the test. Opera 9 comes second, though Opera created the test, but we like the earnestness honesty of Opera, which is rarely seen in this information age. Apple is accused of doing special tweaking against Acid2 Test while developing its Safari browser.
As of now, our favorite browser Firefox (version 2) doesn't pass the test. Sad but true. IE7 comes last, as its result is really "bloody".
However the next generation of both Firefox and IE, namely Firefox 3 and IE8 will pass the test.
Now Opera's only weapon against Microsoft will be silenced. (Take hint Opera, it's time to create a more strict test - Acid3 Test - and fail all browsers).
